Logbook of the ship Apollo : photostat of ms, [19??].

Bound copy of a ship's log kept by Beach while on a voyage from New York to San Francisco, Jan.-Sept. 1849. Beach describes weather conditions, ship's coordinates, and passengers. The vol. was apparently copied from an original 3-vol. log, and includes nine leaves of brief entries of Beach's daily activities after arriving in San Francisco, Sept.-Nov. 1849. Prefaced by a typed foreword (1 p.).
